Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect at my first appointment?

Your first appointment is our first opportunity to connect to one another. We will spend time going over what is bringing you to therapy, as well as discuss your goals and priorities for working together. The first appointment is designed for you to get to know me as well, and I am happy to share as much or as little about my background and approach as you would like. If you are unsure of what your goals are, that is perfectly fine! We can figure it out together.

What do I need to do before my first session?

I will send you a few intake documents to complete prior to our first meeting. You will have the opportunity to let me know as much or as little of your story as is comfortable to you. This helps me have an idea of what you are hoping for and can help me prepare to best support you.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance. A fee of $95 will be charged for any appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment time as well as any no-showed appointments.

Do you accept insurance, and what is the cost of sessions?

My insurance policy and session rates can be found here.
